The Sydney Campus of Curtin University of Technology* (Curtin Sydney)
is located at The Rocks in Sydney CBD, New South Wales, Australia. Curtin Sydney was established in June 2005. Its flexible approach to
entry requirements makes it an open and accessible institution, serving
the needs of a diverse range of students. Teaching staff are highly qualified
and experienced. Further, the friendly and committed staff provide a
high level of personal support to all students so that their period of
study at Curtin Sydney is not only academically successful but also an
enjoyable and memorable experience.

- Curtin Sydney is one of the first universities in Australia to run
a tri-semester year, allowing students to complete a Bachelor degree
in
either the traditional 3 years or alternatively only 2 years. All
Curtin Sydney courses can be completed by fast-track mode.
- Curtin Sydney offers courses including Foundation Certificate of
Commerce, Diploma of Commerce, Bachelor of Commerce and a range of
Postgraduate
courses.
- Fees are extremely competitive with the tuition fees following that
of Western Australia. One year of the Bachelor degree is currently
only $15,600 or alternatively $7,800 per semester.
- Maximum class sizes of 50 students for lectures and 25 for tutorials
allowing students to obtain more assistance and feel comfortable
in their environment.
- Curtin Sydney provides an extremely supportive study environment
for all students. Additional study skills classes are provided
each week to all students at no extra charge to the student.
- Curtin Sydney students have access to specially developed facilities
with the latest audiovisual teaching equipment as well as first class

Curtin Sydney offers courses at four levels:
- Postgraduate Courses:
Master of Accounting (3 semesters - 1 year)
Master of Professional Accounting (4 semesters - 1.5 years)
Master of Commerce (Management) (4 semesters - 1.5 years)
A range of courses
are available. Entry requires successful completion of an undergraduate
degree.
- Bachelor of Commerce:
Accounting, Marketing, Management & Marketing (6 semesters -
2 years)
Bachelor of Commerce with majors in Marketing, Management and Accounting:
An internationally accredited business qualification with specialisations
that can lead to a variety of careers. Entry requires successful
completion of Year 12 with a UAI of approximately 75.
- Diploma of Commerce (2 semesters - 8 months)
Equivalent to Year 1 of
the Curtin University degree, articulates into 2nd year of the Commerce
degree. The Diploma is suitable for students
who have not quite met the requirements for direct entry into the
Bachelor Degree. Entry requires successful completion of Year 12
with a UAI of
approximately 65. Students can complete the Diploma and Degree within
2 years via fast-track mode of study.
- Foundation Certificate of Commerce (2 semesters - 8 months)
A pre-university
course requiring two semesters of full-time study. Designed
to prepare students for university study, this course leads to the
Diploma program. Entry requires successful completion of Year 11.
Students who
have completed Year 12 may commence at this level and will be eligible
to fast-track to the Diploma after 1 semester if a 70% average is achieved.
